YOGA SANDBAGS ARE HERE!! 

 Sandbag is not filled save money and fill it your self with what ever you want from sand found at your local hardware store to everyday dry goods like rice or beans.   The inner and outer double zipper system makes it easy to fill and allows for adjustment to your desired weight.   The 100% cotton outer liner can easily be removed and washed.  The sandbags also come with a handle.  Sandbags can be used in many ways including but not limited too:

On your abdomen to bring awareness to the muscles involved in breathing.

Placed under the feet for a hamstring stretch

Under the buttocks for a lift in a seated poses

For children with sensory issues that require proprioceptive input or as a lap pad to promote calming.

This photo was taken in Quintana Roo, Mexico. The hearts are naturally formed!!

Science lesson of the day: These hearts were formed when this leaf first started to grow and emerge. The palm leaves are all rolled up when they first grow, before they open, and in this case, an insect (or two) must have chewed through the rolled up leaf, leaving multiple almost exactly spaced and sized holes. So when the leaf unfurled fully, this is the result--the true heart of the palm!!


  

 This photo was taken along the Atlantic coast in Hancock, Maine. Maine, also known as Down East, abounds with hearts in nature.
